PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

The master’s degree program in Business Administration is a one-year program. The program offers master students the following:

  1. Acquirement of knowledge in the field of business administration through operational and project management, management of human resources, quantitative business analysis, financial management, marketing, management of information systems, decision-making and strategic planning
  2. Development of awareness and skills about the main purpose of every manager in any organization and that is how to maximize organization’s profit
  3. Acquirement of an integrated knowledge of and ability to perform as management professionals
  4. Development of skills and theoretical knowledge about the proper way of researching and writing master thesis
  5. Development of ability and readiness for continued learning throughout their careers

STUDENT LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  1. Masters’ students will acquire theoretical and practical knowledge and skills, which will enable them to establish and manage organizational systems, as well as to make appropriate and optimal decisions essential for effective functioning of any institution
  2. Master's students will develop skills for efficient problem-solving based on a thorough understanding of concepts, techniques, technologies, skills and ethics of business disciplines, as well as critical and creative thinking
  3. Master's students will develop necessary attitudes and skills to become more productive employees and to continue learning
  4. Master's students will develop team-based skills for solving business problems
  5. Master's students will receive methodological education and learn how to independently draft and carry out research in areas of management

Master students who finish this program will acquire a diploma accredited in the US, EU, Turkey and BiH. The goal of the master’s program in Business Administration (MBA) for master students is to acquire professional level business administration skills required for successful work in economic and public sectors in our country and abroad. The ability to efficiently manage modern organizational systems in global political and economic environments is of extreme importance for the integration of BiH into the European Union. Competencies acquired in the area of general management provide an employment opportunity in foreign companies, diplomatic representative bodies, ministries, administration, as well as private and public sectors in our country and abroad.
