PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

Doctoral degree program in Industrial Technology Management is a three year program comprised of multiple courses and one seminar. The program offers the following:

  1. Education on management of industrial technologies through strategic planning of technologic processes, process innovations and management, industrial risk management, management of information and strategic concepts of quality and industrial pollution control
  2. Gaining specific knowledge and developing capabilities and academic skills for independent scientific research in the field of management of industrial technologies
  3. Development of organizational skills and participation in interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research
  4. Training in independent usage of scientific literature
  5. Education on the latest trends in the scientific field and presenting results of scientific research on domestic and international science meetings, symposiums, expos, etc.
  6. Publishing of results in prominent scientific magazines
  7. Training in presentation and case defense of own scientific research results
  8. Training in systematization, analysis and critical evaluation of scientific achievements in a given field
  9. Implementation of gained knowledge in proper analyses of practical problems.
  10. Ensuring longevity of success in fundamental and applicative research
  11. Students become expert and specialized intellectuals, with a wide array of opportunities for employment, personal advancement, with a strong accent on their contribution to the general development of a society

STUDENT LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  1. Doctoral students will gain fundamental knowledge of, and professional expertise in at least one of the following fields: technologic and industrial management, industrial and information technology finance, data management and steering of operations and projects in industrial technology management
  2. Doctoral students will acquire skills to use, synthesize and creatively adapt tools and concepts from fields such as computer sciences, economy, mathematics and statistics, in order to address challenges in technologic and industrial management, finance, data management, etc.
  3. Doctoral students will learn methods of presentation of resulting concepts and results, whether it is an auditorium in industrial technology engineering or other expert field
  4. Doctoral students will acquire advanced skills essential for academic positions, as well as further academic advancement and participation in research projects
  5. Doctoral students will learn how to discuss scientific problems with their colleagues on research projects
  6. Doctoral students will learn how to present their specialization, both in oral and written form, to their colleagues and the general public, as well as potential effects and results thereof

The study program aims to educate doctoral students and prepare them for international employment opportunities, offering comprehensive education on a wide array of implementation of technologic and industrial tools, as well as the latest achievements in the field. Upon completion, doctoral students will boast highly specialized skills for their research work. They will be ready for business challenges in industrial technology management, counseling, management of projects and operations, various fields of engineering, safety management, as well as for the positions in logistics, transport, etc. Upon completion, doctoral students will acquire a diploma accredited in the EU, Turkey and BiH.

CAREER PATHS

Academic career, management positions in the field of technology and industry, industry and mining, counseling, trade representation, IT companies, quality assurance departments, government institutions, etc. Employment is possible locally, regionally and internationally.

Students who wish to enroll in the study program must have an accredited master's degree.

Upon completion of studies, seminar and thesis defense, participants will earn the title of:
