- CREDIT TRANSFERS / TRANSFER STUDENTS
Transfer of US and ECTS credit hours from universities in the United States, Europe or elsewhere is done from accredited institutions. To be considered for admission and to have credits for prior academic work evaluated for transfer purposes, a candidate must submit the following documents in addition to the regular application:
- Official transcript(s) sent directly from the colleges/universities where the courses were taken
- Detailed syllabi and course descriptions from the colleges / universities for each course
Students will be considered for transfer to AUBiH, upon completion of at least one semester in good academic standing at an accredited college or university. Evaluation of transcripts, syllabi, and course descriptions is done by Evaluation Committee of the AUBiH Academic Department. AUBiH undergraduate students must complete minimum 120 US or 240 ECTS credits in order to obtain BS or BA degree. Transfer students are required to take at least 30 US or 60 ECTS credits within the AUBIH program before the BS/BA diploma can be awarded. Applications from visiting students are usually considered for a study on a full-time basis.
- Fall Semester starts in October- send application no later than 3rd of September
- Spring Semester starts in February- send application no later than 5th of January
- Summer Abroad Programs starts in June- send application no later than 1st of April
Academic Services creates annual Academic calendar to keep track of activities at AUBiH. Important dates such as midterm and final exam weeks, holidays, start and end of semesters’ dates may be found there.

Note for faculty: For holidays not listed above, please submit a request to Academic Services (especially because of make-up classes).

Supplementary Materials include:
- Copy of English translation of University transcripts
- Copy of passport or ID card
- Copy of birth certificate
- Copy of passport style photo
- 2 letter of recommendation
- 1-page personal statement explaining your interest, motivation and past experiences that led you to apply for the AUBiH summer program.
- Parental Consent form (Only needed for students under the age of 18.)
- TOEFL certificate or proof of English ability (Only needed for NON-NATIVE speakers.)
