- AMBASSADOR THOMAS MILLER
American University in Bosnia and Herzegovina (AUBiH) has awarded Ambassador Miller with the Leadership Award. The Leadership Award is given to deserving and distinguished individuals who have worked or are currently working for the wellbeing of youth in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Ambassador Miller is currently the Chairman of the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP), as well as the President of International Executive Service Corps (IESC). He in the period from 1999 to 2001 held the position of American Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina. The President of AUBiH, Denis Prcić, while presenting the award, explained that the award is given for unselfish commitment and that Ambassador Miller has through his appointment with the in International Commission on Missing Persons, as well as through IESC, continuously and relentlessly helped Bosnia and Herzegovina. Ambassador Miller gratefully accepted the award and is very interested in the work of American University in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Former recipients of the AUBiH Leadership Award have been Gen. Giselle Wilz, NATO staff commander in Sarajevo, and Carmel Agius, President of the Hague Tribunal.
