The undergraduate degree program in Law is a four-year program which consists of academic courses. The program offers students the following:

  1. Acquirement of knowledge in the field of international and comparative law through business law, common law, civil law, law of obligations, litigation, international financial law, law of international arbitration, administrative law, labor law, European law, civil procedure, criminal procedure, international private and public law, law of European integration, family and inheritance law, international human rights
  2. Acquirement of knowledge about constitutional systems and organizations of justice of many different countries besides BiH, such as America, Germany, France, Canada, Great Britain
  3. Development of skills of analytical and critical thinking needed for legal reasoning, which is crucial in future professions within the field of law
  4. Development of skills of business communication
  5. Development of awareness about how to work and behave in accordance with professional ethics
  6. Advancement and personal development in professional communication through the extensive use of oral and written English
  7. Development of skills necessary to succeed in securing professional employment


  1. Students will acquire qualifications, knowledge and skills necessary for applying fundamental legal concepts and resolving legal issues in national and international context
  2. Students will acquire the qualifications necessary to enter the legal stage and perform internships in public and private institutions in BiH, as well as to pass the necessary state legal exam
  3. Students will acquire knowledge of legal methodology, legal writing and research and develop a vocabulary of legal terminology
  4. Students will develop creative ability for considering problems and challenges, as well as the ability for critical thinking
  5. Students will develop skills for communicating well orally and in written form

The undergraduate degree program in Law enables students to adequately promote and apply international law in practice. The degree program prepares students to work as lawyers and legal advisors and professionals in public administration, NGOs and international organizations, but also in the economic sectors. After graduation, students will acquire US, EU, Turkey and BiH accredited diplomas, which will enable them to successfully search for jobs in government or other legislative agencies, government institutions, political parties as advisory analysts or organizers and in various non-governmental organizations and corporations.

Enrolling students are required to a have four-year high school diploma or an international baccalaureate diploma.

The undergraduate degree program in Law introduces students to the fundamentals of common law and legal systems of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Europe and the US. Courses in the program are structured in such a way that legal aspects and issues are studied and analyzed from a comparative aspect. Students are introduced to matters and cases from, not just the Bosnian and Herzegovinian legal system, but also the American and EU legal systems. Many courses offer insights into a wide range of methods and legal techniques, such as case law, case briefing, debates, mock trials, essay writing, etc. This degree program offers students an oportunity to develop general legal reasoning and argumentation skills, as well as time to learn legal terminology.
