The doctoral degree program in Cyber Security is a three – year program, which consists of courses and seminars. The program offers to doctoral students the following:

  1. Acquirement of knowledge in the field of cyber security through studying the following at an advance level: cyber security standards and policies, information security, industrial and corporate network security, law in cyber-crime, digital forensics, telecommunication and data communication, computer and system intrusion, malicious software development, mobile devices security, cryptography, electronic and cyber surveillance
  2. Development of understanding of the entire scope of potential cyber vulnerabilities in the online world
  3. Comprehension of the connection between online privacy and online theft
  4. Growth in understanding the key concepts of network, mobile phone, wireless, internet, and control system and infrastructure security and core underlying principles of the same
  5. Development of understanding the postulates behind digital forensics and cryptography
  6. Comprehension of the functions of and defense systems against malicious software and software construction practices
  7. Advancement in theoretical and practical knowledge of advanced research skills, essential for publishing in leading academic journals
