- V.P. INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS MESSAGE
In today's global environment, universities around the world share a common interest in developing their own students so that they will be capable of working effectively in an international environment. American University in Bosnia and Herzegovina is proud to be part of the global academic community. Its internationalization is evident by our American accreditation, an international student body, English as the language of instruction and many cooperation agreements with universities in the United States, Western Europe, Turkey and India.
Bosnia and Herzegovina has a lot to offer to all kinds of students in terms of its rich history, important geopolitical crossroads, conflict, reconciliation and commendable resilience, energy potentials, stunning nature and mix of civilizations and religions. American University in Bosnia and Herzegovina proudly hosts many international study groups and serves as their hub for visiting this part of Europe. In addition to Bosnia and Herzegovina, students are able to visit neighboring countries and cities like Vienna, Budapest and Istanbul that are within a short reach from Sarajevo.
AUBiH Ambassadors, a group of AUBiH students who engage with international visitors, are eager to make new friendships with their peers from around the world. American University in Bosnia and Herzegovina is ready to welcome international students in any capacity: 4-year degree program, master level program, a semester or a summer program.
As the Vice-President for International Relations, I very much look forward to expanding the network of collaborative activities across borders, so that our students, faculty, and staff and those from our international partners actively collaborate and learn from each other.
We welcome your interest and are happy to cooperate with interested universities, faculty, researchers, staff, and students.
