Turkey's Higher Education Council (YOK) officially recognized the American University in Bosnia and Herzegovina (AUBiH). This recognition once again confirms the quality of education and the value of diplomas earned at the American University in Bosnia, which issues both Bosnian AUBiH diploma and an American SUNY diploma.
Recognition of the Council for Higher Education of the Republic of Turkey, will allow students from Turkey to study at one of the campuses of the American University in Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Tuzla and Mostar, and thus to acquire a diploma that will be valid in Turkey.
"This is great news for both the American University and for our country. We, so far, have had conversations with young people in Turkey who have expressed interest in studying at our University. Official recognition by YOK will surely increase the interest, and students from Turkey will acquire modern education at our Universty, and return home after graduation with an already recognized diploma, "said Denis Prcić, president of the American University in Bosnia.
Official Recognition of the American University in Bosnia and Herzegovina, is signed by the President of the Council for Higher Education of the Republic of Turkey, prof. Dr. Yusuf Ziya Ozcan.
