The American University in Bosnia and Herzegovina (AUBiH) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FTC) today.
"The aim of this agreement is to establish cooperation between AUBiH and FTC of BiH in the field of education and training of members FTC of BiH, as well as others who work with the FTC of BiH, as well as the regulation of professional practice AUBiH at the FTC of BiH," said AUBiH Vice President Esmir Ganic.
The agreement, among other things, envisages a joint appearance of the FTC of BiH and AUBiH in applying for projects in various national and international bodies engaged in developing industrial and overall economic potential in the BiH.
“FTC of BiH is honored to establish partnership defined within the framework of this bilateral MoU with most reputed AUBiH. We strongly believe that contemporary higher education only, coupled with adequate human resource policy based on modern knowledge and professional skills, may contribute in overcoming current economic crises and secure overall sustainable development of Bosnia and Herzegovina” said Bruno Bojic, PhD, the President of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Under the agreement, the FTC of BiH and AUBiH will work on developing a plan for the education and training of staff members at the FTC of BiH on the level of specialized training, undergraduate and postgraduate (Masters and PhD) studies in the areas of engineering and industrial development, international trade, international finances and international rights.
The signatories have particularly emphasized that these programs of education and training, will be open to employees of field-related institutions and companies from BiH and abroad, who want to join this initiative made by the AUBiH and FTC of BiH.
