As of this year, students coming from other universities may transfer to the 2nd and 3rd year of study at one of the AUBiH Colleges

In addition to admission of new students, and having created the possibility for students to transfer from other universities to the 2nd and 3rd year of study at one of the AUBiH Colleges, there is currently a great interest in obtaining the status of a students studying at this distinguished university.

“In this way, American University in Bosnia and Herzegovina wants to meet the needs of all those wishing to study at our University, thus acquiring top-quality education, and receiving two diplomas – the Bosnia and Herzegovina diploma and the internationally-recognized diploma from the State University of New York (SUNY). Student transfer will be possible at the College of International Finance and Banking in Tuzla and Sarajevo, and the College of Digital Economy and Information Technologies in Tuzla”, says Denis Prcić, AUBiH President.

The process of student transfer from other universities to AUBiH includes recognition of exams taken and passed at colleges being constituent parts of other universities, the submission of necessary documents, as well as taking additional exams relating to the SUNY distance-learning courses.

There have been cases of students transferring from other universities to American University in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but only to the first year of study. As one of their main reasons for transferring to AUBiH, students stated a rather favorable ratio between the investment and the final outcome, given that for the amount of the tuition fee, in addition to receiving two diplomas, they also get unlimited possibilities of acquiring theoretical and practical knowledge and skills required for a safe job.

According to the research made by the local employment portal “Posao.ba”, persons holding an international degree stand 65.5% more chances of getting a job than the students coming from public universities. AUBiH students also receive a US diploma, so there are no obstacles in their career building.
