The American Academy of Modern Arts began with a series of lectures for its students and lecturers. These lectures are which open and free for all of those who want to get better acquainted with our study program Multimedia and Graphic design and us. Two lectures were held in April, in the areas: "Journalism in New Media" and "Graphic Design". The best experts of our country in these areas held the lectures. The April lectures in Graphic Design were only the first in a number of planned lectures with the topic "Graphic Design in B&H".
The second lecture with this topic is planned on Monday, June4th, at 11 o'clock. During this lecture, the Bosnian-Herzegovinian designer Ajna Zlatar will present herself to the audience. Zlatar has made notable achievements with the designer team and advertising agency "Ideologija" and with her work in the marketing agency "Communis", where she is currently holding the position of creative director. At this public lecture at AAMA, she will share her experiences with us by presenting the projects: "Made in Bosnia", projects for the Sarajevo brewery, the 11th Jazz Fest in Sarajevo, the rebranding of the Sarajevo-x.com website, promo materials for "Ars Aevi", album covers for Dino Merlin, Amira Medunjanin, Zabranjeno pušenje, Edo Maajka, etc. Through the presentations of projects and through discussions, the audience will be able to learn more about how design has been done before computers, how the creation of a project is flowing from brief until the realized idea, and about graphic design itself.
