Last month, the Commission of Experts of the Agency for Development of Higher Education and Quality Assurance of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the accreditation of American University in Bosnia and Herzegovina (AUBiH) visited AUBiH and determined the fulfillment of the criteria for accreditation issued to AUBiH in 2015.
This was the first phase of monitoring the quality of the educational process at AUBiH after issuing accreditation, that is, an external evaluation of the fulfillment of the accreditation criteria. The Commission was appointed by the Agency for Development of Higher Education and Quality Assurance of Bosnia and Herzegovina and by the relevant ministry of education.
After the visit, the experts made a report with findings, recommendations and opinions on the outcome of the accreditation that was agreed between all members of the Commission of Experts for the Accreditation of American University in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Based on their analysis of the degree of fulfillment of the accreditation criteria, the relevant ministry of education assessed that all the prescribed conditions for the extension of institutional accreditation have been met. The accreditation has been extended and it is valid for a total of six years from the date of issuance.
