American University in Bosnia and Herzegovina (AUBiH) has awarded Ambassador Miller with the Leadership Award. The Leadership Award is given to the deserving and distinguished individuals who have worked or are currently working for the wellbeing of the youth in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Ambassador Miller is currently the Chairman of International Commission for Missing Persons (ICMP), as well as the President of International Executive Service Corps (IESC), and in the period from 1999. to 2001. held the duty of the American Ambassador in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The President of AUBiH, Denis Prcić, has while presenting the award explained that the same award is given for unselfish arrangement and that Ambassador Miller has through its arrangement in International Commission for Missing Persons as well as through IESC continuously and restlessly helped Bosnia and Herzegovina. Ambassador Miller has gratefully accepted the award, and is very interested in the work of the American University in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Former recipients of the AUBiH Leadership Award have been Gen. Giselle Wilz, NATO staff commander in Sarajevo, and Carmel Agius, President of the Hague Tribunal.
