On Thursday, April 12, at American University in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Tuzla Campus there was a workshop organised by Career Development Center of American University in BiH and Student Union of American University in BiH on topic “Managers troubles of Start-Up business” with guest lecturer respected expert in the area of entrepreneurship professor dr.sci. Bahrija Umihanić. During this workshop, students had an opportunity to learn how to successfully implement the business idea, fundamentals of a successful business plan and how successful entrepreneur should analyse competition and market.
In the second part of the workshop, professor dr.sci Bahrija Umihanić shared his experience with students how to successfully establish communication in the organization (relation Manager - Employees), what are the most used skills that managers successfully implement every day, and what risks of Start-Up business they could face when they decide to start their own business.
Short info about guest lecturer prof.dr.sci. Bahrija Umihanić Twenty years of successful academic career. Since March 2014, he holds a title of Full Professor in the field of Business and Management. He is focused on the teaching and the research in the field of entrepreneurship and the management of small and medium enterprises, where he has made significant accomplishments and meaningful contribution to the theory and practice. Prof. Umihanić is GEM national team leader for Bosnia and Herzegovina, responsible for implementing the biggest global academic research project in entrepreneurship. As an author and co-author, he has published 7 books, 8 scientific monographs and over 100 scientific and research papers published in the recognised journals and presented at the respectful international and national conferences.
