On December 29, 2017 the Service for Foreigners’ Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the American University in Bosnia and Herzegovina (AUBIH) have signed an agreement about scientific research and professional cooperation. The agreement was signed by Denis Prcić, President of AUBiH, and Slobodan Ujić, Director of the Service for Foreigners’ Affairs.
The two institutions will, in accordance with the law and its statues, cooperate in the field of student education, scientific research and professional education. The signing of this agreement represents a continuation of cooperation between AUBiH and the Service for Foreigners’ Affairs. At the same time, this agreement is a framework for future education in this area, knowledge, values and skills, which will be created by and of use to both institutions.
For the past 12 years, American University in Bosnia and Herzegovina has been carrying out reforms focused on increasing the amount of useful knowledge of its students, and society as a whole. AUBiH is the only higher education institution in the region which holds American accreditation (ACICS). Its goal of providing academic and professional education to its current and future students is based on the American educational system. AUBiH has four colleges, an academy and scientific research institutes.
